DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH (Kent): IAN LARMER

Ian manages our Kent office and co-ordinates research in the London record offices and archives. He began his career in patent law before becoming a probate genealogist in 1991. Ian spent fifteen years with two major firms before founding Martlets in 2005 and has extensive experience in the management of cases originating both in the UK and overseas.

DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH (Liverpool): MARK SLEAT BA Hons (Dunelm)

Mark graduated from Durham University in 1990 and has been a professional probate genealogist for over thirty years. Like Ian, Mark occupied positions with two major firms before founding Martlets. Based in our Liverpool office, Mark manages all aspects of the company’s administration and marketing, as well as overseeing casework and liaising with clients.
